Description: Furrow's Red Barn Village is a prime example of the wave of creative agriculture currently sweeping through the Midwest's traditional “corn and beans” farm country. Wally Furrow began farming this site in the 1940s. Today, he is joined by his son Wayne and a growing staff. Together, the Furrows have converted much of the farm to an autumn produce and winery operation. Pumpkins, squash, and other produce are sold to retail visitors. To accommodate family visits, the Furrows have added other amenities including a “corn maze” and petting zoo.

Furrow Winery was opened in 2001, after the Furrows established a 10-acre vineyard on the property. The winery produces over 20 varieties of wine, and has installed a tasting bar in the gift shop. The gift shop also offers country crafts, gourmet foods, and other wine labels.
