Website Privacy StatementPeoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau For each visitor to our web site, our web server automatically recognizes only the consumer s domain name. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail; aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit; and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our web site and internal marketing purposes. It is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes. Information pieces we send out include, but are not limited to; season visitors guide to the Peoria Area, member brochures, tourism packages promotions, etc. If you do not want to receive information from the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (PACVB) via e-mail, mail or any other source, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at kstickelmaier@peoria.org. Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected. We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our site periodically. Whenever the PACVB handles information that you enter on its site, regardless of where this occurs, we take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Use and this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, no data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. As a result, while striving to protect your person information, the PACVB cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our systems.
