Photography is an integral part of our work, as well as a lifelong passion for Ted Lee Eubanks, our founder. Another passion of Ted’s is nature, and the two come together in his lifetime involvement in nature photography.
Ted’s photography is often seen in Fermata’s interpretive panels, exhibits, and reports that are developed for clients around the world. His photography has been widely published in books and magazines, and Ted has also cowritten two books of his own: The Birdlife of Houston, Galveston, and the Upper Texas Coast (with Bob Behrstock and Ron Weeks), and Finding Birds on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail (with Bob Behrstock and Seth Davidson). Both books were published by Texas A&M Press.
In recent years Ted’s photography has become more central to Fermata’s work. Additionally, his photographic interests have expanded to include heritage in all of its manifestations. In many case’s, the images are adapted to a wide variety of uses, including education, advocacy, science, and art.
To better display and promote our photography and photographic services, we have created a separate website for our galleries. Below is a slideshow of Ted’s portfolio. To access Ted Lee Eubanks Photography, click here.
